 Titchmarsh & Goodwinhave been producing fine furniture for over 80 years and are unique amongst British furniture manufacturers in using only English Oak – from individually selected logs air dried at its own Witnesham sawmills in Suffolk - for oak furniture. After hand crafting by carvers and cabinet makers the furniture is hand polished, resulting in an extraordinarily deep and rich patina. The company has a tradition of bespoke design and after 80 years has around 30,000 designs archived.
Inspect any piece of Titchmarsh and Goodwin furniture and you will appreciate the extraordinary attention to detail: the hinges, handles and escutcheons; the four levered locks stamped with the company insignia; the steel keys, faithfully copied from an antique original; and the unmistakable Titchmarsh and Goodwin plaque. |
